Who we are
PCS Networks provides on site IT support for companies in London and the South East and remote support anywhere in the UK. PCS Networks specialises in Microsoft Small Business Server networks.

PCS Networks was established over 10 years ago in 1993, around the time the general public became aware of the world wide web and e-mail.

Businesses communicated by telephone and fax instead of e-mail or via blackberries. Our work was based around creating peer-to-peer networks that would enable everybody in one office to share files and printers and back-up data on a regular basis, as well as, creating multi user databases. Several of our clients from that era are still with us today.

Our aim is to provide our customers with high quality services and product to suit their specific needs.

PCS Networks specialise in Microsoft Small Business Servers. By combining all of the commonly used servers into a single package, Microsoft Small Business Servers make it easier and cheaper for small business and branch offices to run a fully featured network. The basic version of SBS contains a file server for shared and central document and data storage; Exchange email server, Fax server and Sharepoint services for team collaboration. The Premium edition has the SQL Server 2000 database server installed.

Despite its name and pricing, SBS is actually a very powerful tool capable of supporting workgroups up to 75 users in a range of complex tasks. At the entry level it can be set up and configured to run a small office with a limited range of server requirements. At the advanced level it can delivery a complete range of services to up to 75 users.
